MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer is an important player in his part of the Latin mainstream. The 2016 smash Una Lady Como Tu was the recipient of a Colombian Kids Choice Award for the most popular Song in the year 2017. In Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and released ADN as his first full-length album. The Top Latin Albums chart ranked the album at 8. Following that year, he teamed up with Ozuna to create Vaina Loca that climbed to number five on the chart of Top Latin Albums. He released Dopamina which was his top charting second album, in the years following. Then, in 2021 he sang a duet in 2021 along with TINI in her smash hit Maldita Foto. The year 2023 came around and the hit song La Bachata was released. Turizo is a musician who was born into a musical family. His parents and brothers were both musicians. According to Turizo, music was a fundamental element of his existence. When he was a kid, he began learning to play saxophone guitar the ukulele, and piano. While his initial career choice was to be a veterinarian, his brother Julian encouraged him to enroll in lessons in singing with the help of a Cuban instructor and as a outcome of discovering his talents as a singer altered his entire life.
